Help a couple of fellow kiwis crack the big time!

Most of us business owners know that running a company is a real juggling act, but for one of our clients, juggling is literally part of their winning proposition.

Grow NZ is proud to partner with and serve The Circus,  a New Zealand-produced, original-format reality TV series following the trials, tribulations, drama and showbiz lives of The Weber Brothers Circus family.

The first-of-its-kind show follows the kiwi stars of ‘The Great Moscow Circus’ as they travel across NZ to perform – and you can catch all the drama and action on Bravo from May 22.

But, if you’re anything like me, you’ll want to know a bit more about the business behind the production, so we are here this week to introduce you to the brains behind the TV format and share how we’ve worked with them to help give the show its best possible start.

Roll up, roll up…

It’s showtime

Just when you thought every possible reality show format had been dreamt up, two clever kiwi gents have come along to mix things up and bring you The Circus series. Pitched as a kiwi version of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but with circus tricks, The Circus gives audiences a VIP backstage pass to this most unique way of life as we get to know and love the characters as they share the highs and lows, loves, and dramas of life in The Circus.

It’s the brainchild of Executive Producer, Alex Breingan (above left).  Alex is the Managing Director of TV Production Company, Stripe Studios & Media and a finals judge for The EMMY Awards. Together with Kiwi media maestro, Glen Broomhall (above right), who is a producer/director with over 20 years’ experience in broadcasting and television, including producing and directing shows for domestic and international audiences, channel branding and public relations, the pair also works with Matthew Metcalfe who is the co-Executive Producer for the show.  The team has come together to bring this novel concept to life and, if kiwi audiences love it as much as we expect they will, this kiwi format has an opportunity to be syndicated internationally.

There’s nothing quite as satisfying as seeing a small kiwi business inspire on the international stage and, let’s be honest, we all benefit when NZ gets a profile boost, so let’s help these fellow kiwis crack the big time!

You can help Alex and Glen spread the word about their innovative new TV show format and get kiwi audiences excited about New Zealand’s next big TV reality sensation by sharing this exciting show trailer on your social media channels – Facebook Post: The Circus

No time to clown around

As keen businessmen, Glen and Alex understand the importance of effective marketing, so they approached Grow NZ to craft a digital campaign that promised a strong ROI (return on investment).

Naturally, we obliged and, within 24 hours of engagement, we had their website, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram (@the.circus_)  & Google Display live in market.

Our expertise also enabled remarketing lists and look-a-like lists to be designed and executed to attract ideal audiences within just 48 hours and we’ve managed to get The Circus trailers live on YouTube at a fraction of the standard industry cost. Typically, when a viewer clicks on a company’s YouTube ad, the company pays somewhere between $0.10 to $ 0.30 per click. The Circus is paying just 0.01c, that’s a 90% cost reduction! Much more importantly however is the fact we are able to measure engagement –  and with over 87% of the audience watching the video right through – we can tell the messaging is hitting the mark.

Of course, our work is far from over. The ride has only just begun for this exciting new concept and we are here for it!

Come join The Circus and help a couple of fellow kiwis crack the big time by sharing the post below on your social media channels and, of course, watch the show from this Saturday at 8pm, or on-demand.
